I enjoy creating original, unique pieces and working with people to make beautiful, functional structures to best fit their outdoor spaces. I got into blacksmithing when I left school and joined Cliveden Conservation who introduced me to stone work and metal craft. I then joined Toby Clayton and created metal railings for the Chelsea Flower Show for an award winning garden. I spent two years at Hereford College of Arts hammering out metal in the forge. After leaving College I joined The Blacksmith Shop where the most exciting job was creating a pair of gates for a private house in the country. I then joined Paul Elliott in Hammer&Tongs and helped to produce a bespoke set of gates 3.6 meters high and other structures including gazebos, gates and benches.
